			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last night I had Spin class with our evil instructor, Tom.  Class lasts 45 minutes and is an EXTREMELY intense workout from start to finish.  Last night&#8217;s workout was no exception, and was the hardest class I have experienced yet.  Because I had done &#8220;The Shred&#8221; the night before, my legs were already a bit fatigued.  </p>
<p>Fast forward to this morning, when my legs were so sore I could barely lift them out of bed!  And even now, mid-afternoon, I can barely walk without looking like a stiff robot!  I volunteered for lunchroom duty at my daughter&#8217;s school today and even bending over to pick up trash from the floor was pure agony!</p>
<p>I had planned to eat well/healthy today, but because I overslept I didn&#8217;t have time to grab anything before I left home.  Between that and spending my lunch hour at the school, I have made some pretty crappy choices for food today.  I ended up at the Culver&#8217;s drive thru ordering a grilled cheese sandwich and small fries, for a grand total of about 600 calories!  Yikes!  I am basically at my calorie goal for the entire day and it is only 1:30 in the afternoon.  </p>
<p>So&#8230;here is my plan for the rest of the day:</p>
<p>1. NO MORE FOOD until dinner time.  For dinner I am going to have a leftover piece of grilled tilapia for 200 calories.  I will either have a serving of rice or veggies with this for a grand total of less than 400 calories.</p>
<p>2. Workout at the gym for 1/2 hour to 1 hour.  This is going to be a tough one given how sore I am right now.  I am going to see if I can handle the elliptical and/or treadmill.  Once I get moving and keep moving I feel a little better, so I am optimistic that I will be able to do it!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last night was my first 30 Day Shred workout.  I found it to be difficult but do-able.  Based on reviews I have read I was a little scared, but to be honest I didn&#8217;t really have a problem getting through it.  Don&#8217;t get me wrong, it had me sweating and it was a good workout.  But I made it through the whole 20 minutes fairly easily.  My biggest mistake was using my 5 pound weights for the combination lunge exercises, because today my left elbow is killing me!  I also seem to have hurt my back a bit somehow, though that didn&#8217;t surface until this morning.  My legs are sore in a good way, I can definitely tell I worked out last night.</p>
<p>Today&#8217;s exercise is a 45 minute Spin Class at my local YMCA after work.  I have heard that we burn anywhere from 600-800 pounds in this class.  Tonight I have the VERY difficult instructor, so I&#8217;m guessing it&#8217;s closer to the 800 calories burned.  Amazing!  Even though it&#8217;s tough, I really enjoy this class.  And it allows me to eat a bit more for the day, which is always a plus!</p>
